Comments & Additional Info
David Michelinie is a major figure in Spider-Man’s history, best known for strengthening Peter and Mary Jane’s bond after she accepted his marriage proposal. His run is undeniably long, but it’s worth it for the heartfelt depiction of their unconditional love and the many adventures they shared as husband and wife.
You might notice that I’ve skipped some issues between Amazing Spider-Man #290 and #388. That’s because some of them are part of interconnected storylines spanning across Spectacular Spider-Man and Web of Spider-Man, the other two ongoing Spider-Man series at the time. The major stories included in this run that I removed are Kraven’s Last Hunt (Amazing Spider-Man #293-294), Life in the Mad Dog Ward (Amazing Spider-Man #295), and Maximum Carnage (Amazing Spider-Man #378-380).
