Comments & Additional Info
Howard Mackie isn’t exactly regarded as a great writer by most fans — especially because of how poorly he handled Spider-Man during his run on The Amazing Spider-Man in the late ’90s. That said, I’m actually surprised by how strong his early work on Spider-Man was. While this particular thriller can feel a bit convoluted at times (for some reason, Mackie tends to cram a lot of characters into his stories and drag out plotlines), I still think it’s worth reading.
