Comments & Additional Info
Miles became Spider-Man after Peter’s death, similar to how Peter took on the role after Uncle Ben’s death. If you’re a fan of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, I highly recommend reading his origin story listed here. However, keep in mind that Miles doesn’t have as distinct a personality as he does in the movie—he feels more like Peter Parker in these early stories.
I didn’t include issues from after Miles joined the main Marvel universe (remember, Miles comes from the Ultimate universe) because the quality reportedly drops significantly. The stories became more generic, with uninspired plots, underdeveloped side characters, and conflicts that didn’t make full use of Miles as a character.
