Comments & Additional Info
I'll be honest—this isn't my favorite era. The series feels more like a companion piece to Stan Lee's original run rather than a story with a clear direction, as it mostly consists of standalone issues. And while it focuses on Peter being Spider-Man during his high school years, it doesn’t come close to the quality of Ultimate Spider-Man.
That said, it does a great job of expanding Spider-Man's mythos by introducing new villains and classmates. So, if you're interested in learning more about Peter's high school life (which, in Stan Lee's original run, only lasted 28 issues!), this era can help you connect with the character on a deeper level.
