Peter Parker returns to Midtown High—not as a student this time, but as a substitute science teacher. Walking the same halls where he once felt invisible, Peter now sees reflections of his own past in his students: Steve Petty, a bright but socially awkward kid with a passion for science, and Jake Dorman, a loud-mouthed bully who mirrors a younger Flash Thompson. When Steve’s frustrations boil over, he unleashes a robot of his own design—eerily similar to the Living Brain from Peter’s high school days—to get revenge on Jake.

Comments & Additional Info
I liked this story because it shows Peter back at school—but this time as a teacher—surrounded by a very '80s atmosphere. If you’re into that kind of classic '80s vibe, give it a read!
